Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic brake system capable of enhancing redundancy.SOLUTION: There is provided a pneumatic brake system 10 for supplying air to a brake chamber 50 of a vehicle for actuating a brake, discharging air from the brake chamber 50, and releasing the brake. The pneumatic brake system comprises: security air supply parts 33 for supplying air to the brake chamber 50 and being actuated by a second EBS ECU 15B in emergency; and shuttle valves 34 which are provided between the security air supply part 33 and a brake air supply circuit, and allowing only an air flow in a direction going to the brake chamber 50 from a high pressure side out of the security air supply part 33 and the brake air supply circuit, and the security air supply part 33 and the shuttle valve 34 are provided for every wheel of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
