Abstract:
To improve braking performance on a dry road surface and further improve heel-and-toe wear resistance and crack resistance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire according to the present invention comprises three or more block rows in which tie-bars 26, 28 and 30 protrude from groove bottoms of lateral grooves 20, 22 and 24 so as to connect blocks 15, 17 and 19 adjacent to one another in a tire circumferential direction CD. The tie-bars 26, 28 and 30 comprise top parts 26a, 28a and 30a and inclined parts 26b, 28b1, 28b2, 30b1 and 30b2, provided at both sides in a tire width direction of the top parts 26a, 28a and 30a, whose protrusion heights from the groove bottoms gradually reduce as approaching outside in the width direction. Center positions in the width direction of the top parts 26a, 28a and 30a of the tie-bars 26, 28 and 30 positioned away from a tire equator plane CL are closer to the tire equator plane CL than center positions in the width direction of the blocks 15, 17 and 19 which are connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
