Abstract:
To improve dry steering stability performance at the low internal pressure time, and to improve wet steering stability performance at the low internal pressure time, while maintaining noise performance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 includes a tread part forming a ground contact area in contact with the ground, and a high hardness rubber layer 30 provided on the tire width direction outside of a ground contact end T on the tire width direction outside of the ground contact area. The hardness of the high hardness rubber layer 30 is higher than the hardness of rubber constituting the ground contact area in contact with the ground in the tread part, and the ratio of a distance from the ground contact end T to the high hardness rubber layer on a meridian cross section to a ground contact width of the ground contact area is 0.1 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
