Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire which improves shock burst resistance and load durability while maintaining satisfactory steering stability, and which achieves these performances at a high level.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass layer 4 stretched between a pair of bead parts 3. In the pneumatic tire, the carcass layer 4 is composed of polyester fiber cords with a breaking elongation of 20%-30%, whereas a second filler 9 is provided on a tire width direction outer side of a body part 4a and a wind-up part 4b of the carcass layer 4. Further, an upper end of a bead filler 6 is disposed between an upper end and a lower end of the second filler 9. A tire radial direction height h1 of the upper end of the bead filler 6 is set to 50% or less of a tire cross section height SH. A tire radial direction height h2 of the upper end of the second filler 9 is set to 80% or less of the tire cross section height SH. A tire radial direction length L of the second filler 9 is set to 20%-70% of the tire cross section height SH.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
