Abstract:
To provide a fine adjustment mechanism that is satisfactory in operability, in a portable cutting machine having the fine adjustment mechanism capable of finely adjusting an inclination angle at which a cutting machine body is positioned, by solving a problem in that, when the inclination angle of the portable cutting machine is finely adjusted, it is difficult to perform a fine adjustment operation while checking the inclination of a blade tool from front or behind.SOLUTION: In an upper-surface front part of a base 2, an angular plate 51 is provided, by which a bracket 53 coupled to a cutting-machine body is supported so as to be sideways inclinable. The angular plate 51 comprises an inclination switch mechanism 52 capable of switching the maximum inclination angle of the bracket 53. The inclination switch mechanism 52 comprises: a stopper portion 53a; and a locking portion 54 that regulates inclination of the bracket 53 at the maximum inclination angle by coming into contact with the stopper portion 53a. A fine adjustment operation unit 57a for a fine adjustment mechanism 57 that finely adjusts the position of a contact area 54c of the locking portion 54 is provided ahead of the angular plate 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
