Abstract:
To provide a power supply system in which a fuel cell can be appropriately controlled.SOLUTION: A power supply system 1 comprises: a fuel cell 30 which can generate power using fuel and can supply the generated power to a house load 50 connected to a system power source S; and a control unit 40 which controls the operation of the fuel cell. The fuel cell can set a power generation upper limit value which is the upper limit value of the generatable power, and the fuel cell can generate power in a range up to the power generation upper limit value, according to the demand of power of the house load. When power more than a predetermined amount (minimum purchased power) is purchased from the system power source, the control unit updates the power generation upper limit value of the fuel cell, based on the comparison of the power generation cost of the fuel cell with power supply cost from the system power source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
