Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a power supply voltage switching device for vehicle which can prevent the occurrence of instantaneous shortcircuit between batteries even when the turning-off operation of a switching element is slow.
CONSTITUTION: A power supply voltage switching device for vehicle is provided with a series connecting means 11 which opens/closes a circuit for connecting capacitor bodies 1a and 1b in series, parallel connecting means 12 which opens/ closes a circuit for connecting the capacitor bodies 1a and 1b in parallel, and control means 8A which controls the opening/closing of the series and parallel connecting means 11 and 12. The control means 8A is incorporated with a first delaying means which delays a first driving signal P01 to the series connecting means by a prescribed period of time and second delaying means which delays a second driving signal P02 to the parallel connecting means by a prescribed period of time. The prescribed period of time is set longer than the opening time of the switching element 11b and 12a and 12b of the means 11 and 12 so that the switching element of one means 11 or 12 can be turned on after the switching element of the other means 12 or 11 is turned off.
