Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can notify a specific person of an error without omission and notify the specific person of an error situation in an easy-to-understand manner.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a printing unit which prints printing data on a printing medium; an imaging unit which images a printing result printed on the printing medium; and an error notification unit which notifies a predetermined specific person of an error when the error occurs in the middle of printing of the printing data. The error notification unit determines whether or not there exists the specific person within a prescribed range including the printer, acquires a print image representing the printing result by using the imaging unit when the specific person is determined not to exist, and transmits the acquired print image together with the error notification to a prescribed information terminal related to the specific person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
