Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device and a printing method capable of performing continuous printing with a stable film thickness at low cost while suppressing a total ink amount small.SOLUTION: A printing device includes an ink chamber, a circulation path from an ink recovery port disposed in the ink chamber to an ink supply port disposed in the ink chamber, a circulation pump, viscosity measurement means, ink temperature measurement means, ink temperature adjustment means, a changeover valve, and a foreign object processing filter in the circulation path, an ink supply device having a changeover valve for diluted liquid replenishment in the circulation path and replenishment liquid providing means at the branch destination of the changeover valve via a feed pump, and a printing device body for performing printing by using ink supplied from the ink supply device. A printing method is also provided.
