Abstract:
To provide such a printer that whether a state of the printer satisfies or does not satisfy conditions required to complete printing of content can be determined more quickly than a conventional one.SOLUTION: A printer executes preflight and acquires conditions required to complete printing of content. When it is determined that a state of the printer does not satisfy the conditions, the printer starts rasterization of non-raster data without waiting for reception of printing restart instruction. Further, when it is determined that a state of the printer does not satisfy the conditions, the printer waits until it is determined that printing restart instruction has been received, and starts printing of content.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
