Abstract:
To provide a printing device that is capable of alleviating reduction of productivity of a print material.SOLUTION: A printing part 32 performs printing on paper P. An outer feeding part 2 includes outer feeding tables 11A, 11B, and selectively feeds the paper P to the printing part 32 from the outer feeding tables 11A, 11B. A high volume paper feeding part 4 discharges and retains the paper P printed by the printing part 32. When delivering the paper P from the high volume paper feeding part 4, a controlling part 6 determines whether or not to switch a paper feeder to the outer feeding tables 11 on the basis of a paper residual quantity Rp of the outer feeding table 11 being the latest paper feeder, and a paper residual quantity Rq of the other paper feeding table 11, and when it is determined to switch the paper feeder, the controlling part controls the outer feeding part 2 so as to switch the paper feeder from the outer paper feeding table 11 being the latest paper feeder to the other outer paper feeding table 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
