Abstract:
To provide a printing system capable of providing profiles used for a printing in a short time.SOLUTION: A first provider providing a printer, a second provider providing a printing medium, a client printing on the printing medium using the printer, and a management division to process and store information are connected via a network. The first provider provides a provider printer and profile creating tools to the second provider. The second provider creates the profile according to the combination of the provider printer and the printing medium using them, and executes the processing to transmit the print setting information including the profile to the management division for one or more print media. The client receives the print setting information according to the combination of the client printer used for printing and the printing media used for printing from the management division, sets based on the print setting information to the software for controlling the client printer, and prints.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
