Abstract:
To provide a pump device capable of preventing a wear of a bearing assembly even when starting the operation of a motor pump.SOLUTION: A pump device is equipped with a liquid injection device 50 injecting a liquid boosted by rotations of an impeller 1 to a rotary side bearing 11. The liquid injection device 50 is equipped with a liquid injecting portion 51 disposed adjacent to a rotary side axial surface 11b of the rotary side bearing 11, a liquid transporting line 52 connected to a discharge port 16 of a pump casing 2 at one end 52 and connected to the liquid injecting portion 51 at the other end, a pressure tank 53 connected to the liquid transporting line 52 and holding the pressure of the boosted liquid, and an open/close valve 54 opening/closing the liquid transporting line 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
