Abstract:
The vane cell pump for circulating lubricating oil has a modified two-lobe fixed housing (1). It has rising and falling regions separated by large diameter and small diameter circular regions. The first small diameter circular region (3) is centered on 0 degrees on the rotational circle and extends through 30 degrees. The first rising region (5) starts at 15 degrees. The first large diameter circular region (9) starts at 69 degrees. The first falling region (22) starts at 118 degrees and finishes at 165 degrees. The second circular region etc. are similar. The housing described may be used with a ten-vane rotor.
