PURPOSE: To provide a magnetic recording cassette tape in which a resin molded sheet equipped with an IC memory can be removed easily from the magnetic recording cassette tape and can be fixed to a similar magnetic recording cassette tape while furthermore program reserve information and the like can be stored repeatedly in the IC memory.

CONSTITUTION: A groove is made in the top surface of a magnetic recording cassette tape 10. A resin molded sheet 11 having a mating protrusion is provided and an IC memory 12 storing information to be recorded in the magnetic recording cassette 10 is fixed to the top surface of the molded resin sheet 11. The molded resin sheet 11 equipped with the IC memory 12 is constituted to be fixed or removed to/from the top surface of the magnetic recording cassette tape 10.
