To provide a freezing facility that can prevent frost heaving while eliminating the need for ground excavation at the time of construction.SOLUTION: A freezing facility 100 comprises a wall 6, a ceiling 7, a floor 5 located on an earth floor slab 1, and a freezer 40 whose periphery is covered by a heat insulating material 16. A ceiling space 11 is formed between a top end surface of the freezer 40 and the ceiling 7. A wall space 12 is formed between a side surface of the freezer 40 and the wall 6. An underfloor space 3 is formed in the floor 5. The ceiling space 11, the wall space 12, and the underfloor space 3 communicate with one another and form a flow passage 15 for fluid. The freezing facility 100 comprises an exhaust fan 20 or an air supply fan for passing the fluid through the flow passage 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
