Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator which can suppress the lowering of the reliability of a compressor in a defrosting operation.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a storage chamber in which food is accommodated; a compressor for compressing a refrigerant; a condenser into which the refrigerant discharged from the compressor flows; a decompression device for decompressing the refrigerant which flows out of the condenser: a cooler into which the refrigerant decompressed by the decompression device flows; a heater for heating the cooler; high-pressure piping for connecting a discharge port of the compressor and a refrigerant inlet of the condenser; a branch part arranged at the high-pressure piping; bypass piping for connecting the refrigerant inlet of the cooler; a bypass valve arranged at the bypass piping; and a control device for controlling the compressor, the heater and the bypass valve, and performing a cooling operation for cooling the storage chamber, and a defrosting operation for defrosting the cooler. At the defrosting operation, the control device stops the compressor, drives the heater, and releases the bypass valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
