Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator capable of imaging the inside of a storage chamber while moving a camera, and imaging the inside of the storage chamber appropriately and completely even when a refrigerator door is opened or closed in the midst of imaging, thereby suppressing unnecessary movement of the camera.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: a camera 9 for capturing an image of the inside of a storage chamber; a camera moving device 90 for moving the camera 9; door opening/closing detection means for detecting opening/closing of a door of the storage chamber; and a control device 8 for controlling the operation of the camera moving device 90 and the camera 9 to carry out an imaging operation in which the camera 9 captures an image of the inside of the storage chamber while moving from a starting position to an ending position. The control device 8 causes the imaging operation to be started when it is detected that the door is opened and then closed when the imaging operation is not carried out, and causes the imaging operation to be suspended when it is detected that the door is opened during the imaging operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
