Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator capable of promoting the release of gas generated in a heat insulating box during and after the formation of a foamed heat insulating material, to suppress the occurrence of poor appearance of the heat insulating box.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 comprises a heat insulating box 50. A vacuum heat insulating material 54 is arranged on a back plate 58 (rear part) constituting an outer box 51 of the heat insulating box body 50. On the surface of the back plate 58 on the side facing the vacuum heat insulating material 54, convex parts 59, 59 extending along the left and right sides of the vacuum heat insulating material 54 are provided. The vacuum heat insulating material 54 is arranged so as to ride on the convex parts 59, 59. A communication passage P1 that communicates in a vertical direction is provided between the back plate 58 and the vacuum heat insulating material 54 in the vicinity of the convex portions 59, 59.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
