PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow columnar object reinforcement device and a method of reinforcing a hollow columnar object which make it possible to reinforce in a short time with simple work.SOLUTION: A hollow columnar object reinforcement device 1, comprising a reinforcement part 3 installed so as to bridge across the upper side and the lower side of a base edge part T which is a boundary between the underground and the ground inside the hollow columnar object, an abutting part 2 configured to abut on a peripheral wall S of the hollow columnar object, and an energization part 4 for energizing the abutting part 2 with respect to the peripheral wall S by the operation of the hollow columnar object from the outside. The abutting part 2 is configured to abut on the peripheral wall S in an energized state by the energization part 4 to be positioned in a longitudinal direction with respect to the hollow columnar object, and the reinforcement part 3 is fixed to the abutting part 2 in a state where the abutting part 2 is in a positioned state of being positioned with respect to the hollow columnar object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
