Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire reinforcement member having an improved durability, and a tire of which durability is improved while weight saving thereof being achieved by use of the tire reinforcement member.SOLUTION: A tire reinforcement member 1 is formed in such a manner that a rubber strip 2, in which one or plural paralleled reinforcement cords are coated with a rubber, is inclined with respect to a longer direction of the member, and is wound with no clearance while being folded back at a width direction end part of the member. The rubber strip 2 substantially forms two layers of a reinforcement layer which have inclination directions different from each other. At a folding-back part T which is nearest to a winding end part 2e of the rubber strip, the rubber strip passes under a wound rubber strip 2A which has been previously wound and has a different inclination direction, and thereafter, the rubber strip is folded back.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
