Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device capable of detecting a defeat only in a home gateway when detecting any defeat occurred on a network.SOLUTION: A relay device 10 comprises: a LAN interface unit 11 which communicates with a communication device 20 via a LAN line; a WAN interface unit 12 which communicates with a server device 30 via a WAN line; a determination unit 13 which determines whether or not a response signal has been transmitted from the server device in response to a request signal after transferring the request signal transmitted from the communication device 20 to the server device 30; and a defeat factor inspection processing unit 14 which identifies a point where a defeat has occurred when the determination unit 13 determines that no response signal has been transmitted.
