Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair method of a box culvert that enables the box culvert to be repaired readily at a site.SOLUTION: A repair method is for a connection joint part 10a as a joint material 2 ages, the joint material being of a box culvert formed by a continuously installed concrete box body 10 made of a concrete box body 1 and the joint material 2 filled in the connection joint part 10a between the concrete box bodies, the concrete box body 1 having a penetrating hollow part 1a and being connected to each other such that the hollow parts 1a communicate with each other. At least a ceiling part of the connection joint part 10a is covered by a protective sheet 3 having a cohesive layer laminated on a base material layer and the cohesive layer is adhered on a concrete wall of the concrete box body 1, thereby preventing falling and outflow of the aged joint material, sediment, and moisture contained in the sediment from the ceiling part of the connection joint part 10a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
