Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval device, a retrieval method and a retrieval program which improve image retrieval accuracy.SOLUTION: A retrieval device comprises: a generation unit for generating a distributed expression space in which a distributed expression of predetermined meta information only is projected, and a distributed expression of first meta information which represents characteristics of first information; a specification unit for specifying one or more pieces of meta information having the distributed expression projected in the distributed expression space similar to the distributed expression of the first information, from among pieces of the predetermined meta information; and a retrieval unit for comparing second meta information representing characteristics of second information with the meta information specified by the specification unit and extracting second information with a higher degree of coincidence between second meta information and the meta information specified by the specification unit than a predetermined threshold, from among pieces of the second information to be a retrieval object to which one or more pieces of the second meta information correspond, so as to retrieve second information similar to the first information on the basis of the comparison result of the extracted second information and the first information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
