Abstract:
In this elevator rope, a plurality of outer strands are arranged on the outer periphery. Each of the outer strands has a plurality of outer wires arranged on the outer periphery. The outer strands also include a plurality of information indicating strands that indicate the manufacturing information of the elevator rope. The outer wires of each of the information indicating strands include a plurality of first wires and a plurality of second wires that differ in coloration from the first wires. The manufacturing information is indicated by combinations of states of arrangement of the second wires in two or more information indicating strands.
