Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method and manufacturing device for a rotating body device which can realize firm fixation of a sleeve and a flange while suppressing deformation of the sleeve.SOLUTION: The method is used for manufacturing a rotating body device which includes: a cylindrical sleeve; a cylindrical rotating body provided inside the sleeve; and a flange fixed to an end part of the sleeve and supporting the cylindrical rotating body. When the flange is fixed at the end part of the sleeve; three rollers in one group are inclined to an outer peripheral surface relative to a central axis of the rotating body device and are in contact with the end part of the sleeve; the sleeve is caulked by detecting a load applied to the sleeve in a central axis direction and moving the roller in the central axis direction of the rotating body device while rotating the roller about the central axis of the rotating body device by means of electric feedback control using the detected load such that a load applied to the sleeve is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
