Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire tread capable of manufacturing a studless tire excellent in on-ice performance and abrasion resistance and the studless tire using the same.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tire tread contains a diene rubber containing modified butadiene rubber (A) of 100 pts.mass and a thermal expandable microcapsule (B) of 0.5 to 25 pts.mass. The modified butadiene rubber is obtained by modifying the non-modified butadiene rubber by a nitrone compound having a carboxy group. The content of the modified butadiene rubber in the diene rubber (A) is 20 to 65 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
