Abstract:
To obtain a sand filtration unit which can suppress effects the introduced sample water exercises on filter sands.SOLUTION: A sand filtration unit 1, which is a sand filtration unit of a sand filter apparatus which filters sample water S supplied to an analyzer by use of filter sands 20, has; a cylindrical member 11, a lower part of which is to be filled with the filter sands; and an introduction member 30 which is located above the filter sands, and introduces the sample water into the cylindrical member. The introduction member includes: a first introduction part 321 which guides the sample water toward below from above; and a second introduction part 323 which guides the sample water from the first introduction part in a horizontal direction or above the horizontal direction. The second introduction part has: an opening end face 323a which is perpendicular to a central axis L323 of the second introduction part; and an inclined opening end face 323b which is continuous with the opening end face, and is oriented obliquely upward with respect to the horizontal direction when viewed from the opening end face side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
