Abstract:
To provide a hot water storage type sanitary washing device that uses a limit thermistor as a temperature sensor for safety confirmation.SOLUTION: The sanitary washing device according to one aspect of an embodiment comprises: a hot water storage tank; a nozzle; a heater; a temperature sensor; and a control part. The hot water storage tank stores washing water. The nozzle discharges the washing water. The heater heats the washing water. The temperature sensor is a limit thermistor and detects whether or not a temperature of the washing water is high. The control part controls the heater on and off and performs heat retention control to keep the washing water at the target temperature. In the heat retention control, the control part controls the heater from off to on, then the control part measures an ascending time until the temperature of the washing water in the hot water storage tank reaches a first target temperature and a descending time to reach a second target temperature, which is lower than the first target temperature, after the temperature of the washing water in the hot water storage tank reaches the first target temperature, and then, the control part determines that the temperature sensor has failed when the descending time is equal to or shorter than the ascending time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
