Abstract:
To reduce an amount of an edge at the outer side of a bottom surface of a slide member, which rides on a curve surface at a base angle of a lower rail, in a seat slide device including an upper rail having the slide member.SOLUTION: A seat slide device disclosed by the specification includes: a lower rail which may be attached to a vehicle; an upper rail which may be attached to a seat; and a slide member attached to the upper rail. The lower rail has: a bottom plate; and outer vertical plates extending upward from both sides as seen in a rail short side direction of the bottom plate. The upper rail engages with the lower rail. The slide member contacts with the bottom plate of the lower rail and faces the outer vertical plates. A curved surface or an inclined surface is formed on a border between the bottom plate and each outer vertical plate within the lower rail. Projections are provided on a surface, which faces the outer vertical plate of the slide member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
