Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve, in a sensor for detecting object information from a monitoring area, the detection of information using the sensor.SOLUTION: A sensor 10 includes a detection unit 18 that has receivers 32 and 34 for generating electrical received signals from electromagnetic signals arriving from an object in a monitoring area 20, a scanning unit 16 that moves around a rotation shaft 14, and evaluation units 40, 42, and 52 for creating object information from the received signals. The scanning unit 16 has at least two detection units 18 each having the receivers 32 and 34 provided therein in order to obtain additional object information.
