Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a metal separator for a PEFC excellent in corrosion resistance, conductivity and formability at low cost.SOLUTION: A sheet is manufactured using, as a raw material, a mixture of conductive powder and corrosion-resistant metal powder for forming a parent phase, with a rapid quenching transition control and injection device. When the parent phase of the sheet is metal having a crystal structure, the sheet can be cold molded, and when the parent phase is metal glass, the sheet can be finished in a target separator shape by molding the parent phase in a supercooled liquid state.
