Abstract:
To provide a binding device by which sheets do not easily peel off depending on thickness of a sheet bundle to which binding processing is performed, and which has less influence of damage on the sheets.SOLUTION: A pair of compression surfaces for compressing a sheet bundle are formed of convex and concave tooth molds to mesh with each other with a predetermined face width, and an area contacting the sheet bundle of the tooth molds is made into a different shape in a face width direction toward a sheet edge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
