Abstract:
To provide a sheet folding device capable of matching a downstream end with a predetermined fold of a sheet easily and accurately, by providing aligning means for abutting and aligning the downstream end and the predetermined fold of the sheet on a downstream side of a pair of folding rollers.SOLUTION: A sheet folding device includes a pair of folding rollers 11 for forming a fold at a predetermined position of a sheet S, and for overlapping the fold at a predetermined position on a downstream end Sa side of the sheet S and conveying it. The sheet folding device includes aligning means having an abutting member 54 for bringing the downstream end Sa of the sheet S fed by the pair of folding rollers 11 into contact with a first fold F1 at a predetermined position on the downstream side of the pair of folding rollers 11, on the downstream side of the pair of folding rollers 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12B
