Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accumulate sheets having folds formed thereon without a deviation.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a conveyance unit which includes a conveyor belt 321 for conveying a sheet in a mountain state having a fold formed thereon in a direction along the fold; a saddle unit 331 which accumulates the sheets conveyed by the conveyance unit while saddling; and an extrusion unit 333 which extrudes ends of the sheets accumulated in the saddle unit 331 and adjusts the sheet positions in the saddle unit 331. The conveyance unit conveys the sheet so that the fold of the sheet does not match the top part ridge line of the saddle unit 331 with respect to the saddle unit 331. The extrusion unit 333 includes a contact section 333a which is inclined in the direction of extruding the sheets accumulated in the saddle unit 331 toward the direction in which the fold approaches the top part ridge line of the saddle unit 331.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
