Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress, with a simple structure, generation of failure in the operation of a valve caused by foreign objects contained in flowing water, in a shower head in which a water passage is opened/closed by moving the valve installed inside through the operation of an operation button provided in a shower head body.SOLUTION: In the shower head, a water passages 11f, 10d, 10a, 10b are provided inside a shower head body 2 that has a sprinkler 4 in a discharge end. The water passages are provided with a valve hole 13f as well as a valve 30 that opens/closes this valve hole. The shower head body is provided with an operation button 20 and, between the operation button and the valve, an engaging mechanism 50 is installed which moves the valve on the basis of the operation of the operation button. The engaging mechanism is housed in an engaging mechanism chamber 10c which is separated with a partition wall 11c from the water flowing parts 11f, 10d, 10a, 10b in the shower head body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
