PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor and signal processing method, capable of increasing transmission quality.SOLUTION: A signal processor includes a determination part 100 for determining a symbol value based on a comparison result between a signal value and a threshold value, in a symbol restoration part 10 for processing a signal value obtained by A/D conversion of a signal for transmitting a symbol, and a symbol pattern detection part 101 for detecting a pattern of symbol value transition.
