To accurately determine a viscoelastic characteristic of a time area in a method for determining the viscoelastic characteristic of the time area represented by the sum of exponential functions of time from frequency distribution of viscoelastic values of a material, and to accurately calculate a physical characteristic depending on a time in a simulation method performed using a simulation model provided with a viscoelastic characteristic in which numerical analysis can be performed.
As distribution errors of the frequency distribution used when determining the viscoelastic characteristic of the time area from the frequency distribution of the viscoelastic of the obtained material, error of a value of storage/accumulation elasticity, error of a value of loss elasticity, error of a value of loss tangent, error of a value of a slope of the storage/accumulation elasticity relative to frequency, error of a value of a slope of the loss elasticity relative to the frequency, and error of a value of a slope of the loss tangent relative to the frequency are used, the viscoelastic characteristic of the time area is determined such that the distribution error becomes smaller than a predetermined threshold value. Further, the physical characteristic is calculated by the simulation making the viscoelastic characteristic of the time area as an input.
