To provide a sink in which a storage capacity in the sink is secured, waste water produced in cooking is drained without any trouble, and dried garbage can easily be taken out.
The sink is equipped with a basin 22 and a garbage disposer 25. The garbage disposer 25 is composed of a treatment container 26 that stores garbage as well as being freely attachable/detachable, a charging port lid 24 for opening/closing the treatment container 26, an outer container 28 for housing the treatment container 26, and an IH heater 27 for drying garbage in the treatment container 26. A drain 34 is installed in the outer periphery of the outer container 28 on the bottom of the basin 22. When the treatment container 26 is closed with the charging port lid 24, the charging port lid 24 is situated above the bottom of the basin 22. When the treatment container 26 is removed, the outer container 28 is elevated, so that water inside the basin 22 is prevented from entering the outer container 28. The garbage can be directly thrown in the treatment container 26 and dried therein.
