Abstract:
To provide a slitter adapted to facilitate access to cutting means.SOLUTION: A slitter 10 comprises cutting means 20 that is provided on a pass line configured by a plurality of rollers and cuts a web 12 wound off from a raw fabric roll 14 set on an unwinding unit 18 and a take-up part 22 that obtains a product roll 16 by winding up the web 12 cut by the cutting means 20 onto a take-up shaft 24 provided lower in position than the cutting means 20. On a deeper side than the take-up shaft 24 and underneath the cutting means 20, a roller unit 32 is provided changeable in arrangement between a first position where the air volume of the web 12 to be wound on the take-up shaft 24 is adjustable by adjustment rollers 28, 30 and a second position where it is retracted from the product roll 16 by a linear movement from the first position toward a deeper side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
