According to an aspect of the invention, a sole (710, 810) for a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, is provided, which comprises a first partial region (811, 812) comprising a first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), and a second partial region (811, 812) which is free from expanded TPU (611) and provides increased stability.(Fig. 8b)
