PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a recall ratio of extraction of a specific point name used as one meaning a specific point in a text.SOLUTION: A specific point name determination apparatus 1A comprises: a specific point information storage unit 13 storing therein a specific point name and specific point information; a feature word storage unit 15A storing therein a feature word characterizing that the specific point name means a specific point in a text per specific point; a text extraction unit 14 extracting a determination target text; a determination unit 18A determining that the specific point name means the specific point in the determination target text if a first flag is on to correspond to the specific point name included in the determination target text and the feature word stored in the feature word storage unit 15A so as to be associated with the specific point name is included in the determination target text; and a feature word generation unit 20 storing a feature word generated based on the determination target text determined by the determination unit 18A in the feature word storage unit 15A.
