Abstract:
To provide a bench with a book shelf, in which a storage shelf that is easy to use as a book shelf and a bench with a backrest that is suitable for relaxing and enjoying reading for a long time are compactly integrated.SOLUTION: A book shelf 3, with an opening surface turning towards the long side direction of a bench 2, is combined with one end of the bench 2 in the long side direction. Also, near the other end in the long side direction of the bench 2, there is installed a backrest 4 that faces the opening surface of the book shelf 3. As a result, in a posture sitting on the bench 2 and leaning on the backrest 4, with the legs stretched to the book shelf 3 side, it is possible to enjoy reading in a relaxed manner while looking at the collection of books in the book shelf 3 in the front. Furthermore, by arranging this bench 2 along a window opening, a reading space that is bright, open and easy to relax can be compactly created even in a narrow study room.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
