Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable forging at a rolling reduction in a wide range by providing a small cylinder with a plunger, guiding a hydraulic liquid to the hydraulic cylinder of a press and driving a rotary body with either one of an eccentric shaft or a crank shaft.
CONSTITUTION: The eccentric shaft 19 is rotated and the plunger 18 is moved back and forth. A selector valve 26 is moved to the left to cut off the circuit between the hydraulic chamber 14 of a main cylinder 5 and a tank, simultaneously a selector valve 23 is switched, and an accumulator 20 and the hydraulic chamber 16 of a lifting cylinder 6 are connected. A selector valve 27 or 28 is moved downward, and the circuits for the small cylinder 18' of the plunger 18 and the hydraulic chamber 14 of the main cylinder 5 are opened. The hydraulic liquid is sent into the hydraulic chamber 14, and an upper die 11 is lowered. At this time, the hydraulic liquid inside the hydraulic chamber 15 of the lifting cylinder 6 is pushed back to the accumulator 20. When the plunger 18 is pulled out of the small cylinder 18', the hydraulic lifted, simultaneously the hydraulic liquid inside the hydraulic chamber 14 is returned into the small cylinder 18', and a material 13 to be forged is forged.
