Abstract:

This surface sheet (1A) for an absorbent article includes large polygonal regions (BT) and small polygonal regions (ST) surrounded by a plurality of embossed parts (2). The embossed parts (2) form top parts of the large polygonal regions (BT) and small polygonal regions (ST). A high projection (31) is formed inside each of the large polygonal regions (BT) and a low projection (32) is formed inside each of the small polygonal regions (ST). Large polygonal region rows (BTL) composed of a plurality of the large polygonal regions (BT) arranged adjacent to one another along a first direction (X direction) and small polygonal region rows (STL) composed of a plurality of the small polygonal regions (ST) arranged adjacent to one another along the first direction (X direction) are alternately arranged in a second direction (Y direction) that is orthogonal to the first direction (X direction).
