Abstract:
To provide a surgical sheet suitably used as a cover drape for a human body (a patient) in surgery, as well as a cover or an underlay for a surgical bed on which a patient lies, and also suitably used as a drape and an underlay for preventing contamination of medical devices in surgery.SOLUTION: A surgical sheet includes a laminate having a fiber layer and a film layer, where the fiber layer and the film layer are partially bonded and integrated, and the bonded and integrated part is provided in a shape oriented in one direction parallel to a main surface of the fiber layer. Accordingly, it is found that the surgical sheet can effectively guide and diffuse liquids such as human blood, humor and medical solution for use in surgery in the one direction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
