Abstract:
To provide a suture device capable of speeding up a suturing procedure.SOLUTION: A suture device is attached to a distal end of an endoscope. The suture device comprises a curved needle formed in an arc shape as a whole and to which a suture thread is attached, a support body for slidably supporting the curved needle with a suture space S formed therebetween, and a drive part (a drive mechanism X) for advancing the curved needle. The drive mechanism X includes a rotary shaft 10b provided in the support body and being rotatable around an axis, and an operation wire directly or indirectly connected to the rotary shaft 10b and rotating the rotary shaft 10b by being pulled. The rotary shaft 10b advances the curved needle by rotating, with a side peripheral surface thereof coming into contact with a side portion of the curved needle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
