Abstract:

To provide a switching device, preventing early welding between opening/closing terminals by preventing the local wear of terminal contacts and the concentration of arc discharge, thereby achieving a long life.SOLUTION: In a switching device, on/off can be switched by contact/non-contact between a fixed terminal and a movable terminal. The fixed terminal and/or the movable terminal each includes a head part and a foot part. In the head part, the relationship of Y>X is established between a length Y of a terminal spring in a deflection direction and a length X of the terminal spring in a direction orthogonal to the deflection direction. Also in the foot part, the relationship of Y>X is established. The fixed terminal and/or the movable terminal comprises a wire caulked and fixed to a pore provided in the terminal spring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
