PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel oil composition for internal combustion capable of effectively reducing blockage frequency of a fuel oil filter and a test method for evaluating fuel oil filter blockage property of the fuel oil composition for internal combustion.SOLUTION: The fuel oil composition for internal combustion has (1) slope of filtration time of 0.32 or less, (2) density (15°C) of 0.985 g/cmor less, (3) neutral result in petroleum product reaction test, (4) flash point of 70°C or more, (5) kinetic viscosity at 50°C of 50 mm/s to 180 mm/s, (6) flow point of +20°C or less, (7) residual carbon content of 14 mass% or less, (8) moisture percentage content of 0.3 vol.% or less, (9) ash content of 0.05 mass% or less, (10) sulfur component percentage content of 3.0 mass% or less, (11) copper sheet corrosion of 1 or less, (12) vanadium percentage content of 150 mass.ppm or less, (13) sodium percentage content of 50 mass.ppm or less, (14) total of aluminum percentage content and silicon percentage content of 30 mass.ppm or less, (15) latent sediment of 0.1 mass% or less, (16) real sediment of 0.1 mass% or less and (17) CCAI of 860 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
