Abstract:
Provided is a surface alignment adjusting device which is used to align the planes of the front surfaces of tiles to be laid and which includes: a distance adjusting member provided with an engagement member engaging with portions which, at a predetermined distance from the lower surfaces of the tiles or the front surfaces of the tiles, move in coordination with the positions of the front surfaces, the distance adjusting member being also provided with a thin shaft which extends from the engagement member, the distance adjusting member being further provided with a thick shaft which is connected to the thin shaft; a contact member which can grip, between the contact member and the engagement member, the tiles engaging with the engaging member, and which is freely movable in a direction around the thin shaft and the thick shaft; and an engagement/movement member capable of pressing the contact member toward the engaging member.
